Dear Valued Bentley Users:
Please be advised that we will be making many upgrades to IMS this year as part of our ongoing efforts to improve its reliability and user experience. The second phase of this upgrade is a software upgrade in production now scheduled for July 18, 2026, at 10am EDT.
During the transition to new software on July 18, existing user sessions in web portals such as Bentley Infrastructure Cloud and other IMS-enabled applications will be lost, and users will be required to sign in again. Users on the latest version of the CONNECTION Client should not experience any issues. Additionally, processes that rely on refresh tokens are not expected to be impacted.
This software upgrade is part of a broader initiative to enhance Bentley IMS applications, with additional hardware and software improvements planned throughout the year. Rest assured, our teams are committed to managing this transition carefully and will inform you along the way with the goal of minimizing any disruption for users.
